Pippin
Pippin is a
very pretty tabby cat - one of a litter of four born in July 2002 - found with
their mother under a garden shed at 7 weeks old. The mother was a friendly
oriental cross who was easily homed.
The kittens are becoming very friendly.
Pippin had been attacked by a rat soon after birth and her rear legs were
chewed off at the knees. However, as she had survived so well we decided to
give her a chance.
She needed some surgery at 9 months
old because a piece of the Tibia, with a sharp point, had pushed through one of
her stumps.
Pippin
copes very well, getting around O.K., sometimes walking on her front legs, and
using her litter tray. She will have to spend her life on a carpeted area and
because her future is uncertain she will probably spend her life with us.
Pippin’s litter sisters are – Molly,
Millie and Wendy.
